Each March, we highlight a specific non-profit and/or organization that focuses on helping women in our community. This began from recognizing International Women’s Day (March 8) and feeling passionate about taking the time to make a small dent in helping women here in our community. We have had the privilege of working with so many wonderful people from organizations such as Freedom A La Carte – a unique catering company who employees and helps survivors of human trafficking, LSS-Choices for Victims of Domestic Violence, Amethyst – an Alvis recovery program for local women and their families and so many more!
This March we are focusing on self-care! Oh, how we need it! With the extra stress of the pandemic and everything else going on in each of our lives it seems the perfect time to reflect on a subject matter that has affected so many at some point, anxiety and depression. All month long we will be donating to ADAA (Anxiety and Depression Association of America) with each in-stock jewelry purchase.
Making an Impact
This March make your purchase count! During the entire month, all in-stock jewelry purchases will benefit Anxiety and Depression Association of America! We will donate 10% of the purchase price back to the cause. Just mention ADAA at checkout or with your salesperson.
The Self Care Giveaway
Additionally, we have partnered with the local Upper Arlington and Powell female owned spa, Skin and Sugar for one amazing giveaway on Instagram! We at A&L have specially selected this vibrant blue zircon and diamond ring to giveaway. We love the symbolism of the zircon – While Skin and Sugar has generously donated an At Home Mini Facial Kit retailed at $25 and a $175 Gift Card for the service of your preference.

About Anxiety and Depression Association of America
ADAA’s promise is to find new treatments and one day prevent and cure anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders. ADAA improves the quality of life for those who suffer through evidence-based educational resources, professional practice, and scientific research. ADAA brings together mental health professionals who lend their time and expertise to improve patient care by promoting the implementation of best practices and treatments across disciplines through continuing education and training and accelerating dissemination of research into practice.
Their passion is helping people understand the disorders, find treatment, and recover. ADAA’s website offers expert reviewed content highlighting how to recognize signs and symptoms of anxiety disorders and depression as well as treatment options and access to a Find-a-Therapist platform. ADAA encourages people living with anxiety, depressive, obsessive-compulsive, and trauma-related disorders to share their stories about their struggles, how they cope and triumph. This helps decrease stigma, and makes one feel less alone. ADAA embraces diversity and inclusiveness as a core value.
I highly recommend browsing their website. The educational portal is such a great resource for not only yourself but for other loved ones who could use the information. They broach subject matters such as:
