Wedding rings are ranked amongst the most precious gifts. Besides the change of your relationship status, wedding rings bear a strong sense of value and thoughtfulness. Unfortunately, with time, your wedding band can stop fitting snugly around your finger, making it difficult for you to wear it. Whether your wedding ring has become too tight or too loose, you can resize it to the perfect fit.

Does Your Ring Need to Be Resized?

Rings come in sizes and just like the body, the shape and size of your fingers can change with time. Ideally, your engagement or wedding ring should slip into your finger easily and fit snugly but comfortably. The following are some indicators that your ring needs to be resized:-

• If it is too snug, then you will need to enlarge it.
• If it cannot fit beyond the knuckles, it needs to be enlarged.
• If it keeps on rotating around the finger, it should be reduced in size
• If it slips off your finger without the slightest resistance, you should have it decreased in size.

Janet’s first selection is what we refer to as “diamonds by the yard” or a “station necklace”. The collection comes in many colors: rose, yellow and white gold as well as many lengths. They are available in bracelet as well as necklace. The price point varies on the size of diamonds but the bracelets begin at $480 and the necklaces begin at $840.

Through our Art at Argo’s program, we have had extremely successful exhibits by three artists that have taken studio classes by local painter, Michael McEwan.  These exhibits include the works of Frances McEwan Monfort, John Wilson and Lisa Parks Godfrey.  Michael McEwan is known for his powerful color combinations and subtle nuances of light. His subject matter tends to be landscapes with a nod to his Ohio roots, such as local riverscapes. You will find McEwan’s paintings available exclusively from Art Access Galleries in Bexley.

Last year, I was approached by a student of McEwan expressing interest in a collaborative exhibition of a few artists that have taken his studio classes. The exhibit seemed very alluring to us as we’ve really enjoyed the works of previous artists. Within the same year McEwan retired or perhaps has taken a pause in teaching, the verdict is not yet in. We thought it would be a great time to celebrate his impact on many local artists. So, it is with great pleasure and just in time for the holiday season that we announce our most recent Art at Argo’s exhibit, A Class of their Own: students of Michael McEwan.
