Custom Design –
If it’s important to you that your jewelry expresses your unique style and creativity and that it is exactly what you envision, custom design may be for you!
Rachel recently had the pleasure of working with Jen and Nick on their engagement ring. This couple is lively and spontaneous. They wanted a one-of-a-kind ring and the fun of participating in its creation. The collaboration produced this beautiful piece, combining strong lines with a delicate lacy quality, with a beautiful oval center diamond surrounded by smaller full cut diamonds.
Jen and Nick went through the entire custom process with Rachel, beginning with the initial conversation, looking at images or rings from stock and sketching out ideas. The chosen design became a CAD (Computer Aided Design) image with precise measurements. Our jeweler used CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) to create a wax model, then a mold, and then the mounting to refine and polish and set the customer selected stones.
We got this very sweet review from Jen, “My fiancé and I created my engagement ring with Rachel and it was the BEST decision ever! I’m so in loveeeee with my ring! They did such a fabulous job! I’ve had an endless amount of compliments on how unique and stunning it is and I cannot thank Argo and Lehne enough ????”

Jewelry Repurposing –
Do you have items in your jewelry box, possibly inherited, with great sentimental value, but which don’t suit your personal style? Breath new life into those old gems! We’ll help you transform them into something fresh and unique. Repurposing is generally less expensive than starting from scratch and you can even pay homage to the design of the original piece if you wish.
Repurposing Examples:
As a child, Gretchen adored her Mom’s beautiful pink diamond ring and vowed that when she grew up she’d have one of her very own. Fast forward – Gretchen grows up, meets James and falls in love! Gretchen’s Mom, James, and Anne of Argo & Lehne conspired to surprise her with engagement and wedding rings using those same pink diamonds. Everyone loved it!
Denise wanted to make a new ring from hers and her Aunt Betty’s old ones. She wanted something “dainty yet elegant”. Michelle and Veronica worked with her using design elements from both rings to create this delicately beautiful asymmetrical ring.

Libby worked with Bob to make diamond eternity rings for her four daughters and herself for Christmas, from a diamond necklace she had inherited! Her reaction:
“Here is the photo of my four daughters and myself with the eternity rings on! They were absolutely blown away and it was beautiful and emotional! The desired effect! Thank you for creating this priceless generational moment!” We were so happy to help make this possible!

Something Borrowed –
This idea came to Bob Argo about 30 years ago when one night, sick with the flu, he happened to be watching the Oscars and noticed that all the stars were wearing jewelry from top designers. He thought, “Why couldn’t we lend jewelry to our customers to wear at their weddings?”, and Argo & Lehne’s “Something Borrowed” was born! Brides have been wearing our jewelry ever since, as a perk for purchasing their rings from us. We believe every bride should feel like a star on her wedding day!
