Tuxedo: Commodores at Polaris – beautiful tuxedos, especially the black one, white shirt with black caps on the buttons. Price is really great!
Florist: April’s Flowers & Gifts. Real red roses – absolutely stunning with a touch of bling and buckeyes placed in the bridal party’s corsages and flowers.
Cake: Giant Eagle Kingsdale – Fantastic service! Decorated it just the way I wanted and the cake was delicious.

Caterer: The Marriott – spectacular service from the food to setting up to helping me with the bridal suites. Everything top notch service from Kaitlin.
Hair stylist: Mika from Penzone. She is so beautiful and sweet and knew exactly what I wanted.
Make up: Ulta, Sydney. She was magical with my makeover!
DJ: Corey Cowger from Party Pleasers
List special touches to your wedding that you are so glad you did:
- I surprised my husband with the 1929 vintage Woody Hayes car.
- I surprised the entire wedding party and guests with an appearance by Brutus Buckeye.
- Also, hand-made wedding invitations, table centerpieces, name placement cards, gifts and buckeye necklaces for every guest. These were made with love and I was so proud to have given it a personal touch.
Can you give any advice to future brides on planning their wedding?
I hand made all the decorations – it took months and I loved every moment of it! I am thrilled and so happy that I planned a year in advance and set goals to get something accomplished each month. So, when it came to September I could just sit back and enjoy the bridal party get-togethers, work and not feel stressed as it was all completed.
I loved shopping for great deals on Amazon and Etsy! I took my time to make each item.
I am blessed to have such special friends in our life that have shown love, support and offered to do things to help out!
A beautiful day it was! It was memorable, filled with laughter, love and smiles!
