Who Is Veronica Spencer?
Veronica is an Upper Arlington native, art and music enthusiast, and animal lover!
Originally hired as Jewelry Repair and Engraving Assistant, Veronica quickly proved she is a great asset to the showroom sales team and is now an A&L Sales Associate. If you have ever had the experience to work with her you will note her kind and professional demeanor is a true comfort to be around. Veronica’s schedule varies with her school studies but you can usually find her here any given Saturday. She is also the art liaison between our artists and the store in our quarterly Art at Argo’s exhibits.
Favorite part of the job?
“Seeing so many fantastic heirloom pieces—whether they come from customers who are having them restored or from our vintage collection in the store. I love that every piece has a story.” She enjoys vintage so much it only made sense to have her post our Throwback Thursday posts on our Instagram account. She highlights every Thursday a vintage piece and a little backstory.
When you aren’t at Argo’s?
I am a full-time student at the Columbus College of Art & Design where I study Art History and Fine Arts. In my free time I am spending time with friends and family.
How do you sparkle?
Vintage jewelry is what makes me sparkle! I also love big, statement pieces.
I love the family-owned nature of the store and, as a history lover, I particularly appreciate that the store has been in business for so long and has strong roots in Columbus’s history.
Favorite Argo & Lehne piece?
Do you have a signature piece?
Of Course Not! I like to change it up from day to day depending on what I’m wearing or how I’m feeling.
Local Hot Spots?
I like to explore Columbus through its food! On any particular morning, you may find me with friends or family getting a delicious breakfast at the German Village Coffee Shop!
